Hi, I'm Jen! And I truly appreciate your stopping by!
Ever since I can remember I looked at the world differently. It wasn’t the obvious things that caught my attention, but the little things. The flower that, somehow, grew among a field of stone. An old, rusty hinge on a farmhouse whose stories may never be told. A wooden swing that carried generations of dreamers.
Today, it’s still the little things that catch my attention. Those little moments that make you feel like time is standing still. Capturing those moments is why I fell in love with photography.
But I didn't realize the impact it would have on me and the way I approach my photography until my Grandmother passed away at nearly 101 years of age. I remember looking through her photographs and realizing she had an entire life before me that I didn't even know. To view her life story through these photographs was an amazing journey. And I truly regretted not knowing more about the girl who became the woman who I knew as my Grandmother.
That's my Grandma!
Photography for me is a way to capture moments and memories - and yes, even the little things - that reflect the very essence of who we are and what we treasure.
It's how you tell your story.
It's how you share your story.
It's how you remember your story.
What will your story look like?
